LPAPA is proud to present their 3rd annual exhibition The Best of Plein Air.  The exhibition is a juried exhibition of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association membership.  Forty one paintings, twenty-four artists were selected by guest judge, Scott Christensen, renowned artist.  Jean Stern, Director of Irvine Art Museum will judge the awards.  Awards will be presented opening night, Saturday, March 31^st at 7:30 pm.  Opening celebration begins at 6:00 pm.  First place award will be an invitation to participate in the Laguna Beach Plein Air Painters Invitational October 13, 2007 at the Laguna Art Museum.  All artwork has been created in the plein air, (painted outdoors) in the tradition of our early California impressionist painters.

Laguna Plein Air Painters Association was founded in 1996.  LPAPA is a non-profit organization which has been developed to assist the artist in their artwork in bringing them information and opportunities for advancement.  Today LPAPA has a national membership of over 400 artists.
