Barbara Coffey-Jones has received an "Award of Excellence" at the American Impressionist Society's Invitational Summer Salon Show from the Hilligoss Galleries in Chicago Illinois for her painting "View from Heisler Park."  She also was awarded a "Merit Scholarship" from the Scottsdale Artists School in Scottsdale, Arizona to study with master artist Ron Hicks in April of 2008. Laurie Hendricks will be having her ninth annual one-woman show at Bistro 45 in Pasadena California.
