Live Modeling Sessions
Map and Direction to The Studio

Laguna Plein Air Painters Association is proud to offer the use of our Figure and Still Life Studio. There will be live modeling sessions on a regular basis. Enjoy the opportunity to paint and draw alongside talented artists. You can attend one or all of the three, 3-hour sessions per week which feature professional models and set-up.

The Studio offers a resource library and meeting place to discuss art. It is also the perfect venue to rent for your own show or event.
Space is limited to give artists room to work. LPAPA members may participate in the weekly sessions by paying for a Studio membership.

(First Tuesday & Thursday of the month is a Drawing Session with 10 minute poses throughout the 3 hours.)

Annual Studio membership
$600 per year
(includes annual LPAPA membership)

An annual Studio membership includes
– Unlimited sessions
– Access to rent the space for one person or group shows
– Use of library, demos* and lectures*

Studio members have unlimited access to modeling sessions.

In consideration for everyone's health, when painting in the studio we are restricting the use of most solvents due to their toxicity and strong odors. We require using "Gamsol" manufactured by Gamblin paints. It is the least toxic with a slow evaporation rate and has no odor. We will have this available at the studio in quart and gallon sizes at a good discount along with other paints for sale.
