LPAPA is pleased to present a 3-day “Signature Artist in Residence” Laguna Plein Air Painting Workshop with Jove Wang, Tuesday April 4th through Thursday April 6th, 2023.

Join Jove Wang, award-winning oil painter and LPAPA Signature Artist, for an intensive workshop painting landscapes on location. Jove will do daily painting demonstrations and walk you through his painting process for creating exciting compositions and brushwork.
Class meets from 9am-4pm each day. All levels welcome, beginner to professional. This workshop includes painting on location, lectures, demonstrations, one-on-one instruction, and critiques. Jove will demonstrate his painting techniques and students have the opportunity to paint several studies in this intensive, 3-day class. Students must provide their own art supplies, meals, and transportation to and from painting sites. Maximum of 15 students, minimum of 10.

In addition to the workshop, the LPAPA Gallery is proud to present an “Artist in Residence” Showcase Exhibition of available original works by Jove Wang April 6 – May 1, 2023. This workshop is one of a series of Signature Artist in Residence Workshops and Showcase Exhibitions to be presented April 2023.
Workshop Tuition*: $690 for LPAPA Members, $720 for Non-Members
Maximum: 15 students
Dates: Tuesday April 4, Wednesday April 5, and Thursday April 6
Times: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day
Locations: Painting locations, as well as a recommended supply list, will be provided to registrants in advance.

(LPAPA Members must log in to access the member discounted price. If the workshop is full when you attempt to register, please be sure to add your name to the waitlist!).
*Note: The workshop tuition must be paid in full to hold your spot. If you need to cancel, a full refund will be issued if LPAPA receives your cancellation more than 60 days prior to the start of the class (on or before February 3, 2023). If you cancel within 60 days of the start of the class (on or after February 4, 2023, and no later than March 3, 2023), you will receive a refund of your tuition LESS a $100 cancellation fee UNLESS someone on the waiting list fills your spot in the class in which case you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 4 weeks of the start date (on or after March 4, 2023), you forfeit your entire tuition UNLESS someone from the waiting list fills your spot in the class in which case you will receive a full refund. If for some unforeseen reason the workshop is cancelled by LPAPA, you will receive a full refund of your tuition.
