LPAPA hosted live art experiences throughout the day with Paint Outs in Laguna Beach and a special community painting created at the LPAPA Gallery (final painting shown below).
LPAPA Paint Out locations took place at Treasure Island Park, Main Beach Park/Promenade, and Heisler Park.
In addition, everyone was invited to be part of the creativity with a visit to the LPAPA Gallery to “make your mark” in celebration of World Arts Day! We had Artists in Residence — Susie Gordinier, Fernando Micheli, and Durre Waseem working on the “community canvas” and guiding visitors throughout the day on the painting in progress laid in by Anthony Salvo! Everyone who stopped by the LPAPA Gallery to “make their mark” for World Arts Day with a brushstroke added to the canvas had the opportunity to enter the drawing to win an original painting!
The LPAPA Gallery is located at 414 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, on gallery row between Jasmine and Myrtle Streets. Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, 11 am to 5 pm, and by appointment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
