Debra is an international, award-winning, impressionist oil painter. Painting primarily En Plein Air, she is acclaimed for her joyful use of color and bold brushwork. She has been featured on the cover of Southwest Art Magazine, in Art of the West, Plein Air and Fine Art Connoisseur Magazines, and has been exhibited in over 25 Museums. Besides being a LPAPA Signature Artist Member and Emeritus Board Member, Debra is a Signature Member of the American Society of Marine Artists, American Impressionist Society, and Pastel Society of America. She is on the Advisory Council of the Indiana University Eskenanzi School of Art, Architecture & Design, and a Member of the California Art Club, Hoosier Salon, Oil Painters of America, and a Founding Member of the Southern California Plein Air Painters. Debra’s studio is in Newport Beach, California, and her Gallery, Huse Skelly Gallery, is on Balboa Island in California.
