In addition to the current exhibition of the Invitational Artists’ Catalog Art shown in the online catalog above, LPAPA is proud to feature the work created this week by the LBUSD Students and the LCAD Students during the Kids’ Paint Out and the Next Generation Paint Out LPAPA Gallery Exhibitions. Come out to celebrate and support the students’ exhibition. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of LBUSD paintings goes to the student’s school. 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the LCAD paintings goes to the student and 50% goes to support the program and scholarship awards!
The LPAPA Gallery is proud to showcase the 2022 Laguna Plein Air Invitational Artists‘ annual Invitational Catalog Art Show with an online preview and auction opened Monday August 29, 2022, followed by the opening at the LPAPA Gallery on Thursday, September 1st and continues to Monday, October 10th and will be followed by a post-invitational art show through Monday October 31st.
The Catalog Art Show includes paintings that will be published in the 2022 collectible Invitational Art Catalog produced and printed exclusively for this year’s event (all attendees of the October 8th Collectors’ Gala, as well as the Catalog Art Collectors, receive a complimentary copy of the Invitational Art Catalog).
The LPAPA Gallery is located at 414 North Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, on Gallery Row between Jasmine and Myrtle Streets. Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and by appointment. Plan to join us the First Thursday of each month when the Gallery is open extended hours (to 9:00 pm) for First Thursday Art Walk Laguna Beach!
The 24th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational will be presented the week of October 1 through October 9th, with the Annual Collectors Gala on Saturday, October 8th. Click here for a menu of free and ticketed Invitational Events.
LPAPA’s gallery is made possible through the support of our Members, Patrons, and Collectors, and funds raised through the annual Invitational. Proceeds from the sale of artwork support the artists and nonprofit LPAPA, and helps further LPAPA’s mission to preserve Laguna’s century-old artistic legacy, promote the plein air painting tradition, and connect outdoor painters from around the world! We hope you will plan to visit the gallery, join LPAPA as an artist or supporter, and/or attend an Invitational Event and help to assure that plein air painting legacy — past, present, and future — will remain in our Community’s heart for centuries to come! When you join LPAPA, you become part of the Laguna Plein Air legacy and tradition!
Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm; with extended hours to 9:00 pm the first Thursday of each month.
