Saturday, October 3rd | 9AM – 12PM | Heisler Park, Laguna Beach
The 28th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational starts right here! Join us for a beautiful morning of outdoor painting, community connection, and fresh ocean air as we welcome this year’s arriving Invitational Artists.
The Plan: Paint on the bluffs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, then bring your sack lunch and meet us at the picnic tables along the bluff near the breeching whale sculpture for a community picnic and a fun creative “show and tell”.
How to Join Us:

LPAPA Members: Register with a $5 donation using your login to receive your member discount, participant webpage acknowledgement, and downloadable custom easel sign to print and display during the paint out.

Non-Members: Register as a LPAPA “Supporter” painter with a $10 donation and receive your downloadable custom easel sign to print and display during the paint out. This is a great opportunity to meet other outdoor painters and learn more about LPAPA!

Art Lovers & Spectators: Completely free! No registration is needed to come out, wander the park, meet the artists, and watch plein air painting happen live.
Get ready for a week-long plein air festival! (P.S. Don’t forget to swing back by the park on Sunday, October 4th to catch the amazing Quick Draw Competition!)
