Participating college students from the Laguna College of Art + Design will gather in Heisler Park for the Next Generation plein air paint out. The students’ paintings will be judged for scholarship awards, with the award-winning artists invited to exhibit their paintings for sale during Saturday’s Collectors Gala. This event is designed to cultivate the next generation of plein air painters and provide college students with an art career experience! We are grateful for our 2021 Next Generation Mentors: LPAPA Signature & Invitational Artist Rick J. Delanty and LPAPA Artist Member Hilary McCarthy.
LPAPA’s Next Generation Paint Out is one of the education elements of LPAPA’s Plein Air Project education programs that are intended to inspire the next generation of artists to continue the plein air painting tradition!
