“My Plein Air watercolors are colorful, bold and full of energy. I focus on a wide variety of subjects looking for shadow shapes and complex perspectives. For my subjects I search for dialogues between objects in natural and urban landscapes. Vehicles, industry, structures and buildings are items of interest. I like to depict how we live in different environments. Curiosity drives me and every painting has an intent. Careful drawing is a foundation in my paintings and I am fascinated by the light and transparency of watercolor.”
