Frank’s plein air painting tips, advice & adventures: LPAPA Plein Talk with Frank Eber & Artwork Showcase

“I am very conscious of my edges and never say ‘too much’. I think it is important to leave some mystery, some room for imagination. When you look at the finished piece, it is remarkable what you think you see that is not really there! For me, that is one of the most beautiful things about painting in watercolor!” — Frank Eber

“Creating artwork that is realistic but loose, expressive as well as meaningful is an ongoing endeavor. In landscape painting it is a fulfilling experience to be in front of God’s great creations attempting to capture even a small portion of its beauty on a canvas.” — Lisa Mozzini-McDill

LPAPA Luv-a-Thon: Small Works, Big Hearts

January 29, 2018 by Toni Kellenberg

Last spring, during the Plein Air Convention in San Diego, we invited our Signature and Artist Members to sketch and paint on a large canvas… as a result of their creative efforts and big hearts, 25 small paintings were created and offered in Opportunity Drawings on February 11, 2018 during the LPAPA Luv-a-Thon Fundraiser & Gallery Party:
LPAPA Luv-a-Thon Fundraiser: Small Works, Big Hearts!

Many thanks to all of the artists and art lovers who supported this fundraiser!
