After acquiring a BFA in graphic design with a minor in painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art, Chuck art directed campaigns for a variety of print and media clients and detailed urban revitalization programs for communities participating in the “Main Street” program sponsored by the National Trust For Historic Preservation.

Upon relocating to Southern California, he focused his artistic skills as a restoration expert specializing in early merchandising ephemera and related antiques. His disparate interests contributed to his creation of 221b BAKER STREET/Los Angeles, a full-scale recreation of the sitting room of the famed detective, Sherlock Holmes. As a performer/emcee, he has staged presentations for numerous Fortune 500 companies and hosted the California Art Club’s revived lecture series.

His paintings investigate a variety of subjects rendered in the “plein air” style of the post-Impressionists. Chuck is an Honor Court member of the Mid-Valley Art League and in 2017 was named to Signature status in the California Art Club, and in 2019 Chuck received his LPAPA Signature Membership. In 2016 he was the recipient of the CAC’s “William and Julia Bracken Wendt Award.” He is a frequent exhibitor at the CAC’s annual Gold Medal show as well as their Old Mill Gallery in San Marino.

Chuck has participated in invitational art programs in China, Provence, Switzerland and Scotland, as well as “plein air” events in Alameda, San Luis Obispo, Mendocino, San Dimas, Sonoma and Ohio.

At just 10 years old, with a little help from Watergate, Thomas Bucci discovered the joy of drawing. He began sketching people he saw on TV and got encouragement from those who recognized the people he was portraying. That drawing has come in handy as Bucci went on to study graphic design and then earn a Master of Architecture. All of that has coalesced perfectly n his watercolor landscapes. And as he says on website, “You have to be willing to take risks to fully enjoy the potential of watercolor.  — Creative Catalyst Interview

Dan Graziano is an award winning, nationally exhibited artist whose paintings capture the hidden beauty found in the unexpected places and fleeting moments of everyday life.  Incorporating dramatic light, shadow, color and perspective, his compositions feature a diversity of subjects – from a simple still life to rugged coastlines, active urban life, lively cafes and bars, small rural towns and forgotten roadside relics.  His work has been featured in numerous publications and is in the collections of private and corporate collectors throughout the world.

His artistic vision began taking shape in the 60’s, during America’s explosive political, cultural and artistic awakening.  His first formal training focused on advertising and illustration, but a career opportunity in architecture and urban planning altered his original direction.

When he returned to painting, he was drawn to the rich complexity of the urban landscape – inspired by Edward Hopper and other urbanist painters. As an accomplished blues guitarist (his other great passion), he found the city streets, time worn buildings and multiple layers of decay and repair a visual parallel to the spirit and culture of the music.

The life force of the ocean, the quiet beauty in flowers and the tranquil coastal landscape have been Gobind’s inspiration. It is her passion to bring forth the inner glow, energy and movement of her subjects on to canvas using layers of color and brushstrokes. As a contemporary painter she is inspired by old world masters such as Rubens and Vermeer as well a the impressionist painters such as Monet, Gauguin, and classical realist painters, Bierstadt and Waugh.
