Workshop Overview
Join LPAPA Signature Artist Jason Li for an immersive three-day watercolor experience designed to build a strong foundation before taking your easel into the elements.

Whether you are looking to master studio basics or build confidence painting outdoors, this step-by-step workshop bridges the gap between theory and real-world painting. Come paint, embrace the process, make mistakes, have fun, and grow your artistic voice in a supportive environment!
Daily Schedule & Curriculum

Day 1 | Gallery Foundations & Live Demo:
Start inside at the LPAPA Gallery with an in-depth live demonstration by Jason, followed by hands-on group exercises focusing on core watercolor techniques, color mixing, and value structures. -
Day 2 | Studio-to-Field Transition:
Morning individual instruction at the LPAPA Gallery, followed by an afternoon outdoor painting session where Jason guides you through adapting watercolor techniques to the changing outdoors. -
Day 3 | Full-Day Outdoor Plein Air Session:
Spend a full, inspiring day outside painting on location in beautiful Laguna Beach with direct, individualized field coaching from Jason!

Registration & Payment
- Payment Terms: Tuition must be paid in full at registration to secure your spot. Unpaid registrations will automatically be canceled after 3 days.
- Sold Out? If the workshop is full, please join our Waitlist. Spots frequently open up as the event approaches!
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations on or before February 24, 2027: Full refund minus a $100 LPAPA administrative cancellation fee.
- Cancellations on or after February 25, 2027: Tuition becomes strictly non-refundable.
Travel Tip: We strongly recommend you look into purchasing trip cancellation insurance. Standard travel policies often define “trip cost” to include pre-paid, non-refundable workshop tuition.
