Born in Italy, John Budicin moved to California at the age of 11, where he went to college, and continues to live today. After several years as a commercial artist and freelance illustrator, he took the opportunity to pursue his dream of becoming a plein air artist when his employer moved out of state. He loves to paint directly from nature so he paints outdoors almost every day. In addition to being a dedicated painter, he spends several weeks each year teaching workshops all around the US, and taught a workshop in Umbria and Tuscany, Italy.
Please note: All of the miniature paintings being auctioned are framed and currently exhibited at the LPAPA Gallery located at 414 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, California.
