“My favorite subject matter is the everyday life of those who live along the Southern California coastal towns. I celebrate daily activities such as walking dogs, dining in outdoor cafes or enjoying a beach day body boarding or surfing. My painting style is influenced by the California Scenes painters. I include rich color, layers or transparent washes and bold brushstrokes and calligraphy to capture the delight of the moment.”
