“For me, the most important aspect of painting en plein air is the experience itself. Rather than simply recording a scene, I try to capture the feeling of being present in that moment. Whether painting in nature or on a busy city sidewalk, each work reflects a unique experience. A successful painting transports me back to that time and place and recalls how the environment felt. I hope the viewer can also share in that sense of experience.”
