The Plein Air Project Now Generation is a multi-faceted education program designed for adults who are interested in learning about plein air painting, California Impressionism, and/or to enhance the knowledge and skills of professional, emerging, and beginning artists. LPAPA seeks to provide affordable education programs for its members and the greater community.
Plein Talks are fun, informative, and captivating discussions with leading authorities on all aspects of art from visual journeys tracing the history and development of outdoor painting to lively conversations with artists who share their plein air painting advice, insights, and adventures, as well as discussions related to business development to help professional artists with their career goals and business management. LPAPA’s Plein Talks are offered to our members at discounted prices.
Mentor Paint Outs are in-person or recorded sessions lead by LPAPA Signature Members available to our members for member-only discounted prices. LPAPA also has hours of recordings available to members free of charge through its LPAPA-Portal.org Video Archives (members must log in to access). LPAPA showcases a collection of Videos and Podcasts and Painting Demonstrations on its YouTube Channel Playlists linked through the LPAPA website Library.
LPAPA Painting Workshops are offered in collaboration with Signature and Artist Members as well as other nonprofit organizations. LPAPA is dedicated to providing access to learning opportunities, affordable education programs, as well as scholarship opportunities.
