LPAPA Signature member Rick J. Delanty, who recently participated in his twelfth Laguna Plein Air Painting Invitational, recently received the first place award in the Masters category of the September “Art Muse” International Painting Competition for his painting “Moonrise”..
He also received Honorable Mention for his entry “Sunburst” in Southwest Art Magazine’s “Artistic Excellence” 2019 Competition, and was a Finalist in August for the “Gateway International” competition. At the Mendocino Paint-Out in northern California in September, Rick’s body of work for the week was selected for the “Overall Consistency”award. His paintings were also selected for this year’s NOAPS “Best of America” exhibition in Park City, Utah, and the Western Regional OPA exhibition in Santa Fe, New Mexico in November.
