In the late 1960’s, David Solomon moved to Laguna Beach where he became immersed in the local arts culture. He was a regular exhibitor at the Festival of Arts for 30 years, and was the first artist ever commissioned to create a painting especially for display in the Pageant of the Masters. His work is included in the permanent collection of the National Watercolor Society and other prestigious collections throughout the world. He has been listed in Who’s Who in American Art and featured in “Mastering Color and Design in Watercolor.” He was proud to receive a Bronze Award in the Laguna Plein Air Invitational in 2002 for his piece “Poplar Alley.”
