David Marty
Edmonds, Washington
” I am awestruck by the beauty and diversity of the Northwest. I see the fingerprints of a creative God all around me — from the last glow of golden light on a mountain to the sparkle of a meandering meadow stream. This inspires me to try to capture an essence of a scene or moment in time, and share that with others.”

Anthony Salvo
Newport Beach, California
“Plein Air Painting is the catalyst that motivated me to paint again. For me, it’s meeting the challenge of the quick decision of color and brush stroke. Not to over-think, but to be deliberate, fresh and spontaneous in my approach. I want to convey that unspoken energy into every painting to tell my story.”

” I love to paint from the life that surrounds me. I paint in an impressionistic style, marked by energetic brushwork, and use thick and thin layers of paint, patterns of light and dark, and a rich palette of colors to capture the moment.”
