Spring Fling Gallery Show, Ends April 29th!

The LPAPA Gallery is pleased to present the artwork created during the World Arts Day Celebration & Paint Out in a special All-Member Spring Fling Paint Out Gallery Show opening Thursday April 18th and continuing through Monday April 29th.

Participating Artists include: David Allen, Jeff Bertuleit, Mary Christie, Lorraine Marie Cote, Karen Doyle, Jessica Falcone, Danny Folkman, Curtis Green, Mike Hill, Rebecca Holbrook, Xi Lu, Mike Major, Francis Pampeyan, Hans Quinonez, Nadalena Radis-Cobbs, Tamara Smith, and Jove Wang.

Plan to visit to see the show and consider making a purchase to support the Artists and nonprofit LPAPA. Sale proceeds benefit the Artists and provide the much needed support to help LPAPA sustain and grow its year-round art and education programs.

In addition, the post-auction Spring Fling Fundraiser gallery specials continue, so don’t miss out!

The LPAPA Gallery is located at 414 N. Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, on gallery row between Jasmine and Myrtle Streets. Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, 11 am to 5 pm, and by appointment. Galery hours are extended to 9 pm the first Thursday of each month for Laguna’s First Thursdays Art Walk.

World Arts Day Celebration & Spring Fling Paint Out: April 15th

Join LPAPA’s 3rd Annual World Arts Day Celebration & Paint Out on April 15th! On this day we recognize and celebrate our community of artists, art organizations, art educators, art businesses, galleries and all those who participate and support the arts.

LPAPA is inviting everyone to visit the LPAPA Gallery to “Make Your Mark” on our Community Canvas at the LPAPA Gallery where lead Signature Artist Debra Huse will be laying in a painting and inviting you to add your brush stroke to the painting in progress! Mentor Artists will be at the gallery to answer questions, mixing paint, and encouraging you to make your mark for art! This is a free interactive art event, but donations in support of our nonprofit’s Mission are gratefully accepted and new artist and supporter members welcomed!

In addition, plan to enjoy a walk through Laguna’s Heisler Park and watch Laguna Plein Air Artists in action as they paint en plein air! LPAPA Artists will be in Heisler Park (from dawn to dusk) for an All-Member Paint Out celebrating plein air painting and the arts, as well as painting around town for the LPAPA Gallery “Spring Fling” Art Show.

Registration fees help to support LPAPA’s Art and Education Programs and administrative costs. Thank you for your support!

Music Festival Paint Out, Laguna Beach: Feb 17th

In collaboration with the Philharmonic Society, celebrating the Laguna Beach Music Festival, LPAPA Artists are invited to participate in a special “Plein Air Art and Music“ All Member Paint Out on Saturday February 17th, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, in Heisler Park. LPAPA plein air painters and musicians will gather in and around the Gazebo at Heisler Park, and along the pathways following along the iconic Laguna Beach cliffs for a morning of art, music, and ocean views. This is a free art and music experience, open to the public.

LPAPA Members are encouraged to Register so we know you’re coming and plan to wear your LPAPA Hat and/or T-Shirts!

2023 Hotel Laguna Painting Competition Awards

LPAPA artists are super excited to be invited to paint the Hotel Laguna to participate in painting competition sponsored by the Hotel Laguna! There were 30 submissions of which 7 awards finalists juried to be exhibited for sale at the Hotel Laguna on October 5th for Art Start for First Thursday Art Walk in the Rose Garden plaza! We are pleased to share the award winners, along with the finalists…

In addition to the exhibition of the LPAPA Awards Finalists, guests enjoyed performances by the Laguna Dance Festival during Art Walk.

The LPAPA Gallery is open with extended hours to 9PM for the First Thursday Art Walk each month, so plan to visit us!

Spring Paint Out at the Muck, May 13th

All Member LPAPA Spring Paint Out at the Muck!
The Muckenthaler Cultural Center, Fullerton
Saturday May 13, 2023, 9 am to 12 pm

In celebration of Spring, the Muckenthaler’s new Lawn and Gardens, and Best of Plein Air Exhibition, LPAPA Members are invited to register for an All Member Spring Paint Out at the Muck! Non-Member Painters are welcome to register to paint with us as well!

Bring your gear and set up to paint together! Bring lunch and enjoy a picnic in the gardens after the paint out… then you are welcome to continue to paint throughout the afternoon!

The Muckenthaler Cultural Center is located at 1201 W. Malvern Ave., Fullerton, California. Be sure to visit the Muckenthaler Galleries to see the Best of Plein Air and the Moulton Museum’s Anna Hills Exhibitions while you’re there!

$5.00 LPAPA Member Registration Fee or $10.00 Non-Member Registration fee supports LPAPA & Muckenthaler programs. LPAPA Members, log in to register. Need registration required to come meet the artists and watch as they paint!
