Judd Mercer is a watercolor painter based in Denver, Colorado. After attending art school for industrial design, Judd pursued a career in digital design and user experience and is co-owner of Elevated Third, a Denver-based digital agency.

After committing to writing and illustrating a full-length fantasy novel in his spare time, Judd began watercolor painting around 2014, studying with teachers such as Alvaro Castagnet, Joseph Zbukvic and Herman Pekel.

After finishing the book, All That Will Burn, in 2017, Judd’s love for painting continues. He now spends his free time in his studio and plein air painting around Colorado, often with friend, fellow painter, and teacher, Dan Marshall.

David has been living in and finding inspiration from the Pacific Northwest for the last 30 years.  A Palo Alto native, his passion for art has taken him from the bay area, to Southern California, around the world, and ultimately Washington State.

Landscapes of the western United States are often the subject of David’s paintings.  However several tours throughout Europe, and in particular Italy, have inspired him to regularly paint scenes from European country and city life as well.  His work is a combination of plein air and studio paintings.  He loves to get outdoors and painting on location whenever he can.

Born in New Jersey in 1971, reared in Ohio and finishing his education in Connecticut at the Propersi Institute of Art, Dan is used to adapting to different environs. As a successful tattoo artist, he has been fortunate to extend his travel experiences all over the world. Providing him frequent opportunities to paint the scenes he finds there and allowing him to draw on his early experiences of adaptation. Dan is an avid Plein Air painter, producing the majority of his work en plein air. This has helped to develop a confident style with an immediacy and freshness infused into each painting.
