“Most subjects I paint are everyday places, that with the right light, become magical. The intimacy which develops between artist and nature can not be expressed any other way. The relationship between artist and nature is like any other relationship, it takes time to nurture. The artist observes, and learns to see what nature presents. He becomes one with nature getting to know her and listening to what she has to say.
