Born in Santa Barbara Ca in 1977. Attended the University of California Santa Barbara as well as Hirudaya Holistic School in San Luis Obispo, Ca. After owning a business for holistic care and working as an Environmental Monitor,  took on painting as her primary focus since 2014.  Rebecca has taken workshops and classes from well known artists.  She continues to gain technical skill while exploring her place in the art world. “It is an immense amount of work and passion. I adore the process, the fight and insight learned with every piece.”  –Rebecca Arguello

“I use a palette of warm colors a lot, like ochre and burnt umber,” says Vlad. “I work with 15 colors in my palette, preferring to mix paints myself. I’m not painting the object itself, but rather the light on it. There should be something unsaid, something that gives the viewer the luxury of interpretation, and there lies the poetry… The task for me, as an artist, is to express as much as possible with the minimal brushstroke.” — Vladislav Yeliseyev
