San Bernardino, California
JohnBudicin.com

Born in Italy, John Budicin moved to California at the age of 11, where he went to college, and continues to live today. After several years as a commercial artist and freelance illustrator, he took the opportunity to pursue his dream of becoming a plein air artist when his employer moved out of state. He loves to paint directly from nature so he paints outdoors almost every day. In addition to being a dedicated painter, he spends several weeks each year teaching workshops all around the US, and taught a workshop in Umbria and Tuscany, Italy.

LPAPA Signature Artist Larry Cannon
Santa Clarita, California
CannonWC.com

Larry Cannon grew up in the Midwest, then moved to San Francisco following Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Architecture. He was not a painter when he made his journey, but found that it created in him an aching need to find a way to express the beauty and spirit of California and the American West. Larry does not consider himself a watercolorist, but rather an artist who expresses his art through this most challenging of mediums. He paints in watercolor because of its fluidity which expresses so well the flowing forces that he sees and feels in Nature.
